Myofascial Cupping

An excellent way to increase circulation, increase range of motion in joints and connective tissues, reduce muscle tension and increase lymphatic drainage, detoxifying the body.

Myofascial cupping is the movement of cups across the skin using decompressing suction. This allows the therapist to work into a greater range of muscle and tissues, and to gently but firmly separate tissues that are sticking together to create greater movement within the area.

By creating a suction of vacuum, it is used to release rigid soft tissue, drain access fluids and toxins, loosen adhesions, and lift connective tissue, while bringing blood flow to stagnant areas.

This type of therapy can be used to treat muscle and joint pain in a variety of areas including the neck, low back, shoulders, and knees, in addition to other joints and muscles. If you have chronic nonspecific pain or tight muscles in any area let me know and we discuss your options and help you decide what would be most beneficial for you.
